The aim of this exercise is to strengthen your dog’s “paw-eye co-ordination”. Just like us, our dogs can go into “autopilot” with their movement and leads them to be susceptible to injury via slips, trips and misjudgement.
Some simple yet effective exercises can be achieved via some pole set up that has been designed by your physiotherapist that encourages your dog to enhance their individual and specific body awareness.
Below are some examples of setups, though your therapist will show you, video and report the specific set up, repetitions, speed and directions that you should be performing these in at home.
