You can make use of curbs whilst out with your dog on their daily walks. Your therapist may want you to step up with a certain leg, or all legs may be targeted. Slowly walk your dog over to the edge of a curb so that they are facing the curb. Encourage them up the curb slowly and ensure they step up with their limbs as oppose to hopping or jumping up. If you are trying to target a specific hindlimb but they prefer to use the opposite hindlimb, try leading them up to the curb at an angle, so that the target limb is on the inside of the curb as you step up, increasing their chances of using that limb.
