Have your dog sit square on a non-slip surface.
Ask for a paw – ensure your dog doesn’t lean through this paw when standing by playing with, or gently bending, the toes.
Ask your dog to stand and lure food down and forward to encourage your dog to push up with both of their back legs equally.
Perform the appropriate amount of reps with each leg as instructed by your therapist. If your dogs technique isn’t right, pause the exercise and reach out to discuss with your therapist.
