Take your dog for a walk where you can make use of an incline to help strengthen your dog’s hindlimbs.
Think about how slow you could walk – then slow this down again by 10! We want a very slow, controlled walk where your dog uses each leg with a decent ground time between each leg lifting.

Your therapist will discuss with you an appropriate intensity and length. Be sure to look for signs of fatigue and make note of these to discuss with your therapist.
