Have your dog stand on a non-slip surface, with two raised objects to step onto to their left and right, preferably long flat yoga blocks as in the video.
If you don’t have these pieces of equipment, just ensure that the forelimbs are slightly lower than the hindlimbs and on a non-slip surface.
It is important that this exercise is only performed slow controlled. If at any point your dog begins tripping, jumping or showing distracted behaviours please pause the exercise and reach out to your therapist to discuss through.
Please only follow the repetitions and directions as instructed by your therapist.
