- Set up on your dog on a non-slip surface where they are comfortable.
- Stand them square, you can use a treat lure or manual shift their legs.
- Cup your hands either side of their hips and rock side to side.
- Your therapist will have instructed you to rock, or have a hold time.
ADVANCE:
The forelimbs or hindlimbs can be placed under a raised surface which is stable or unstable depending on your therapists recommendations. If the hindlimbs are to be raised, you can place the object down, have them walk slowly over it with their front legs and stop them when their hindlimbs are then on the object. You can also try gently lifting them and placing the object under their hindlimbs, but not all dogs will tolerate this.
